  ARTIST’S STATEMENT

My passion for art started with drawing.  I discovered sculpture in college.  After college, I have begun learning painting from the pastel and oil painter Daniel Green and the muralist Gerion Rios.

I am focusing on the dreamlike House of the Weavers , the theme of my current series of surreal paintings.   The Weaver’s House, its inhabitants and its locale are a vision that grew from a dream.  Each picture conveys a view of the journey to and through the Weaver’s House.
